What about the Declaration of Independence (July 4, 1776) or Gettysburg (July 1 – 3, 1863)? The American Civil War battle known as The Battle of Gettysburg was fought in the fields surrounding the village of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and began July 1, 1863, and ended on July 3, 1863.
