The Binromese A fast and fun read
Derinda Babcock has done it again! The Binromese, the latest book in her fantasy series, A Tale of Three Kingdom, opens with fast-paced action and never lets up. I eagerly anticipated Book 3 since I closed the first two books in this series. Babcock does a fantastic job creating champion characters we can all relate to: tender, believable, courageous, and often as tempted and fearful as any human. She weaves modern topics like pandemics and politics into a fascinating look at medieval history. The Binromese left my brain with lingering thoughts to process later. If you love fun, nerdy, historic fiction mixed with fantasy, plus fabulous characters, I highly recommend all three books in this series. Great grand finale in The Binromese. I highly recommend all three books. Loved them!
Colorado Treasure: A Fast and Enjoyable Read
I just finished reading Colorado Treasure and already look forward to the release of the next book in the trilogy. The book held my attention because the author weaves many issues and side stories into the tale. I found elements of a love story, high drama, tragedy, sadness, joy, history, crime, morality, and faith. The story was a fast read and left me feeling good at the end. I couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend this book.
Colorado Treasure: What a Wonderful Ride!
Sweeping vistas meet personal discovery, evolving relationships and a healthy dash of intrigue in this wonderful story of a girl searching to find the truth about her family and her past. Enriched with a cast of characters who made me want to jump into the book and spend an afternoon with them, I loved every little bit and piece. I was drawn in and taken for a wonderful ride. This book truly lives up to its namesake as a Colorado Treasure!
Colorado Treasures: An Unforgettable Saga
When you think of Scarlett O’Hara, or Jo March and her sisters in Little Women, you’ll remember Victoria Silverthorne in Colorado Treasure. You’ll judge other heroines by Victoria’s compassion, courage, and faith. Derinda Babcock plunged Victoria into the murky depths of finding family and turned Vicky’s world upside down. Why had she been sent to Mary and John Keeson instead of her paternal uncle after the death of her parents? Why did she have to find out about her Silverthorne connection from a newspaper article? Blossoming love and a thirteen-year-old deaf boy are the spices that flavor this story packed with lies, revenge, and organized crime. Learning some Spanish and sign language rounded out this unforgettable saga. Derinda Babcock — we’re ready for your next novel.
The Jindentors: Masterful Worldbuilding
Babcock instantly captivated me with her masterful worldbuilding and likable characters! I was drawn in from the very first page and felt a quiver of excitement every time I sat down to read more. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this fascinating series!
The Jindentors: Adventure, Compelling Characters, and Love
Adventure, compelling characters, love-in-the-air romance, and life or death struggles are the elements Derinda Babcock uses in The Jindentors. I’m enthralled by Derinda’s imaginative skills and compelled to read on and on until the exciting end. You will be also.
A Tale of Three Kingdoms: An Exceptional Series
The exciting plot of The Binromese interweaves so many complex characters the reader will not want to stop reading until they find out how Keena, with El’s guidance, will save them from a certain dreadful death. The author has done an incredible amount of research into Medieval times and medical history. Her knowledge and expert writing abilities will amaze the reader.
Worth Losing Sleep Over
The Binromese is a story I happily lost sleep over. Keena and Velorian lead this tale with old and new friends by their sides as plague, inner turmoil, and a foreign power threaten the Middle Continent. And Keena can’t help but get herself and her family involved in the thick of the trouble. The characters are solid, well-rounded people I would love to have the chance to meet in person!
Addictive Reading
Derinda Babcock created an addictive story world in The Three Kingdoms series. I rewarded myself on Sunday afternoons with a chapter, because I didn’t have time to read on weekdays. I knew if I even picked up her books, I’d be late for work—like, hours late for work.
What I love about The Three Kingdoms series is the prodigious amount of research that pulses from every page. Because of this, Derinda develops a world as vivid as my own. In many ways, her world is better.
